About The District

The District was formed in 1956. The District provides parks and recreation for the community. The District is in charge of the maintenance and operations of Weedpatch Park, Bear Mountain Park, Lamont Pool and Arvin Pool.. The District provides swimming lessons and open swim for the public in the Summer. Also in the we have a Jr. Giants League in the summer in Arvin and Lamont.

Board Members

Our district is governed by a 5-member board of directors who are elected to serve by the people. Board members serve 4 year terms.
