I am the District Manager for Bear Mountain Recreation and Parks District (BMRPD), which is located south of Bakersfield and covers the communities of Lamont, Weedpatch, and Arvin.  I have been an employee of the District for over 30 years, I began my career at (BMRPD) as a seasonal employee in 1989 as a Recreation Leader working with children in the Little Bear Camp , also in 1990-1991 I worked in the office as the secretary. I graduated from Arvin High School in 1992  I was hired to work part time at (BMRPD) I helped the Recreation Supervisor in the recreation programs when needed. In November of 1995 I was hired as the Office Manager at (BMRPD) I was in the position from 1995-2009. I was the Interim District Manager 2010-2011.  I was officially appointed as the District Manager in September of 2011. I will continue to grow at (BMRPD).
